Hande Gunacti is the Director of Climate and Sustainability Impact at Doktar, with 10 years of experience leading cross-functional programs across agriculture-focused supply chains. Her expertise centers on turning sustainability commitments into practical, measurable programs that strengthen resilience, support long-term procurement, and deliver credible environmental outcomes.

Before joining Doktar, she worked in telecommunications and international development, leading transformation programs, executive reporting, and large-scale multi-stakeholder project delivery.

Her work focuses on regenerative agriculture and water stewardship. In regenerative agriculture, she designs and manages programs that help supply chains transition toward more resilient production systems in response to climate change, while creating opportunities for carbon removals and broader environmental benefits. In water stewardship, she develops programs based on the understanding that while water risk is global in impact, it must be addressed locally, particularly in agricultural systems where farmers and corporates often depend on the same shared resources.

At Doktar, Hande leads multi-country programs across Europe, MENA, and Australia, working with global companies across food, beverage, and technology sectors. Her work integrates digital tools such as remote sensing, IoT, and data-driven analytics into field-level operations and sustainability reporting to make environmental action more scalable and verifiable.

She holds an M.Sc. in Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of York, an M.Sc. in Urban Policy Planning, and a B.S. in Sociology from Middle East Technical University.
